Hi all
I am new to foam. I want to model flow through porous zone. I have porous zone geometry in stl format. I want to use snappy. I have doubt about locationInMesh because this refers to the zone of mesh. While in my case I want to keep fluid (blockMesh) mesh as well as mesh created inside stl file through snappy. Would anyone tell me how can i do it? Regards Mvee |

Basically for multi-region snappy the location doesn't matter. Put it inside one of your domains. You will tell each STL to be in a different cellZone and snappy will extract them all, including ones you may not want. After you just delete the ones you don't want.
