Hey,

I have following data:
displacement 77kg (65 passenger+12 kayak boat)
draft T=115.5mm
LCG=2512mm
trim 0deg
V=4.5, 5.5m/s

I have doubts regarding mass properties.

1. Moment of inertia:
I am assuming that the 65 kg is acting at the center of gravity. If so the
moment of inertia does not consider the moment of inertia of the point
mass of 65 kg. It will be the moment of inertia for just the boat. AM I
right?

2. Mass:
In this link https://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/P...dyMotionCoeffs it says " mass
applies to the entire Body". So what is the mass to be used here in my
case???? Mass of boat or sum of both the masses

Thank you in advance
