Hi guys
I previously made a standalone meshing program for the specific case of an axial flow fan. It uses Python to construct a blockmeshDict file. The program has the ability to adapt to different blade shapes and mesh quality parameters etc... I have received interest in creating a fully fledged application for this. Part of the desired outcomes for this program is for it to be independent of operating system or solver used (ie openFOAM, Fluent, starccm+...). As a result, I am interested in knowing if the blockmesh function can be called exclusive of an OpenFOAM installation, and if so, what would be the requirements to do so. If someone could give me some guidance on this, that would be great! Kind regards Zander M |
