[snappyHexMesh] SnappyHexMesh snap failed due to deltaT in controlDict?

Foamers,

I cannot explain this: how come mesh snapping is related to deltaT in controlDict. I have a multi-region mesh. snappyHexMesh crashed if I set deltaT to 1.0 in controlDict. But it worked perfect if I set deltaT to 1.0e-3. Can anyone give me some ideas why?

Hi Marpole!

I think it would be helpful to see the error message and your controlDict. I never had such an issue and it really sounds strange to me.

Thanks for the offer of help. I didn't keep the case but moved forward using the other set of stl files.
