I am learning OpenFoam and was able to simulate airfoil for NACA 4 series that matches the reported values in the literature. Now I want to venture into simulating two airfoil, one is behind the other airfoil wake.
Are there any tutorial for this? if not, how to approach it? My thought is start with the airfoil stl file in a CAD software, position them behind each other of about 2 chord length or so. Then build a rectangular domain. I am assuming a 2D case here. How should a mesh be approached in this case? |
