Hi Foamers,

I'm facing some problems in meshing a cylinder with a restricted section. The stl was generated with solidworks. My final mesh will be 2D, so I'm meshing a thin layer and then I will extrude the front boundary with one cell. The background mesh is hexaedral, and has been generated in gmsh.

The snappy procedure goes ok, but I have problems with the boundary layer.
In particular, it seems that no boundary layer cells are generated!

Can you give me some hints on it?

Thanks, Ivan
