Hi,
I want to merge two pairs of patches which are connected to each other (as in the case discussed here: http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/ope...o-patches.html With OF 1.7.1, I'm getting the error "Face 167 reduced to less than 3 points. Topological/cutting error B. Old face: 2(192 196) new face: 2(35 71)" from blockMesh when I try to merge both pairs - one alone works well. I wonder if blockMesh is able to deal with this case in version 2.0 - could anybody having this version available please try to run my attached blockMeshDict? Regards, Hugo |

I managed to try the case with OF 2.0 - it's the same problem. However, adding an extra cell row and and extra cell column as seperate blocks between the different grid densities solves the problem.
