Hallo everybody,
I am looking for a way to generate a 3d complex mesh starting from stl file, for chtMultiRegion OpenFOAM 1.7 solver. sHM works well if I have only one stl file (also divided in many patches). The problem is when I try to use chtMultiRegion, with more than one region and of complex geometry: it means not a simple box or a cylinder, but a scanned geometry of real objets. No upgrade after this post: Quote:
Any idea or help to skip the problem. Or someone could suggest me another open-source tool working in such case, for example "Salome"? Many thanks |

Hello,
as partial solution: form OpenFOAM 2.0 it's possible generate multi domain meshes. However in chtMultiRegion solver you can't add layers , so ... for detailed mesh generation it could be better use different tools. |
