Dear foamers,

I've written an OpenFOAM solver for solving the Boltzmann model equation using a discrete velocity type method (the discrete unified gas kinetic scheme). I call it dugksFoam. The project is hosted at https://github.com/zhulianhua/dugksFoam. The git-page is http://zhulianhua.github.io/dugksFoam

Hope it can be useful for studying micro gas flows.

Welcome any feedback!

Hi:
I met an error when compile dugksFoam in OpenFOAM-2.4.0. It shows below:
/home/happy/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM-2.4.0/src/finiteVolume/lnInclude/fvMatrix.C:2175:34: note: template<class Type> Foam::tmp<Foam::fvMatrix<Type> > Foam:perator-(const Foam::dimensioned<Type>&, const Foam::tmp<Foam::fvMatrix<Type> >&)
Foam::tmp<Foam::fvMatrix<Type> > Foam:perator-
^
/home/happy/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM-2.4.0/src/finiteVolume/lnInclude/fvMatrix.C:2175:34: note: template argument deduction/substitution failed:
fvDVM/fvDVM.C:413:54: note: ‘Foam::Vector<double>’ is not derived from ‘const Foam::tmp<Foam::fvMatrix<Type> >’
vector c = dv.xi() - Upatch[facei];
^
make: *** [Make/linux64GccDPOpt/fvDVM.o] Error 1

I compile OpenFOAM with MPICH2 instead of OpenMPI.
Do you think MPICH2 has an effect on the compilation?
If it does, how do I solve the error?

Best regards!
Yue
