Thanks, Novo. I found it can work simply by checking the "Skip Zero Time" box on paraview.

Since you are into it, I have another question with particle tracing. Now I can easily display particles and watch their motion by marching time steps. But I haven't figured out how to plot individual particle trajectories, which I saw people presenting with Fluent simulations. I wonder if you learned any tricks with paraFoam.

Thanks again.

Not yet... but I plan to test it too. So please if you succeed any developments. I will keep this in mind too.
And btw. I have not found information about how to set the injection velovity for particles from the calculated velocity data (e.g. performed with icoFoam solver). Do you have any info I could follow on this?

Using paraFoam

First you execute paraFoam as usual but you select only in the data to be load the fields and the mesh of the continuous phase.
Then you click on the Open button (or File -> Open in the menu). You select the case.OpenFOAM file created by paraFoam. So you can load again the data of the case. But this time, you select
  1. in Mesh Parts the lagrangian clouds (be sure that only lagrangian geometries are selected),
  2. in Volume Fields unselect everything
  3. in Lagragian Fields select the fields you are interested in.
Then click on the Apply button.
To visualize the particle, use the Glyph filter (cf. end of previous paragraph).
