Hi every One!

I have simulated flow around cylinder and I used (Ux+Uy) as the inlet boundary condition in a O-grid to study angle of attack.

Now That I got the results, I found that the Uprime2Mean-xx and Uprime2Mean-yy are not symmetric around the cylinder. It seems that Openfoam is just doing the averaging in normal X-Y and if you use inlet velocity component (Ux+Uy) then the averaging will not be what you want.

Do you know if its possible to rotate the axis and get the corrected result? or if I have to run the simulation again.

Best
