Hello Foamers,

i am trying to output yPlus using the solver post-processing as indicated here:

I am simulating the bubbleColumn tutorial of twoPhaseEulerFoam (all the setting are left as in the tutorial, so turbulence model is mixtureKEpsilon for both phases). I added the following lines to the control dict

functions
{
   yPlus
   {
    type            yPlus;
    libs            ("libfieldFunctionObjects.so")

    }
}

However when i execute

twoPhaseEulerFoam -postProcess

i got the following warning and yPlus is not calculated

--> FOAM Warning :
    From function virtual bool Foam::functionObjects::yPlus::execute()
    in file yPlus/yPlus.C at line 178
    Unable to find turbulence model in the database: yPlus will not be calculated
yPlus yPlus write:
    writing field yPlus
    patch walls y+ : min = 0, max = 0, average = 0

If i calculate yPlus during the run or change the turbulence model nothing changes.

Any idea?

Please, have you already solved this issue? I am facing the same problem with DPMDyMFoam. I appreciate it if you can help.

I am facing same problem to calculate yPlus in particle-lade backward facing step. Solver I used is DPMFoam in OpenFoam-v-1912.
