Hi there!
I am trying to figure out the best (easy) way to do this: so I have 3 grids from similar geometry. I would like to map the results from any of the grid onto another one, AND apply operations say FFT of velocity U or else, and then difference from the sets, for each point in the domain, and more. I believe it is possible in paraview (?), though I am not friend yet with the pipeline thing, and also how to do that from a python (calculator?) script. Perhaps, the procedure may look like: 1.import one data set (the easy one) 2.create a source from the above geometry? 3.import another data set? 4.map it to the source geometry? how? 5.apply operations, how? I tried to use the VTK module, though the size of the output data for an unsteady (long) simulation become quite large (VTK files...). I am trying to use probes at the moment, but I would appreciate to hear ideas/tricks on how to do this in paraview (if possible). The reason of using paraview is for visualisation, since making nice 3D plots from probes can take quite some time Thanks in advance Gino |
