I am currently using the OpenFOAM v2206 to simulate the flowfield around a sphere under Re=3700~10000. The solver is pimpleFoam.
The pressure distribution and the wall shear stress distribution around the sphere; velocity profile, Mean(u'u') and turbulent kinetic energy k in the downstream are chosen for validation. The monitors of the velocity profile, Uprime2Mean and the k are already done with set up the fieldfunctions in the controldict. However, I wonder how to output the wall shear stress around the sphere? An example of the wall shear stress distribution is shown as follow. |

Once the model finishes, type
HTML Code:
pimpleFoam -postProcess -func wallShearStress |
