Hi.
I've created the control volume with blockMeshDict and then I created a body to be absorbed in it, with Gmsh, I meshed it's surface and I saved it in .stl format. Then I ran the surfaceFeatureExtract routine, and that's the output (omitting the "Writing" messages): Statistics: Triangles : 3840 Vertices : 1922 Bounding Box : (0.5051109791 -0.04848210141 0) (0.800064981 0.04083010182 0.1000000015) Constructing feature set from included angle 150 Initial feature set: feature points : 4 feature edges : 112 of which region edges : 0 external edges : 80 internal edges : 32 Final feature set: feature points : 4 feature edges : 112 of which region edges : 0 external edges : 80 internal edges : 32 at this point as I ran paraFoam it came out that the body wasn't put into the control volume and wasn't even recognised among the various patches. Any suggestion? |
