Hi,
I have defined a block in blockMeshDict with 6 vertices according to the userguide page U-142. But when I define the triangular boundary patches with 3 vertices it gives the following error --> FOAM FATAL ERROR: face 0 in patch 0 does not have neighbour cell face: 3(0 2 3) Is there any way to define a triangular boundary patch with 3 vertices? Thank you |

I think you still have to supply 4 vertices, but need to use one of them twice. This is also listed in section 5.3.3 of the User Guide: http://www.openfoam.org/docs/user/blockMesh.php
