Hi everyone,

I have a tetrahedral mesh and I want to check itīs quality, basically skewness and aspect ratio. With the checkMesh utility I detect the worst aspect ratio element and the same for skewness. When I try to reproduce the same with GAMBIT I find that this values have changed.

Anybody knows why? Is Equiangle Skew (GAMBIT) the same concept than Skewness (OpenFOAM)?

Thanks in advance for the replies,

Cheers,

Many

The definition of skewness and non-orthogonality follows the definitions in H. Jasaks thesis, section 3. Thus skewness is not the same as in GAMBIT.
