Boundary condition on imported solid.

Hi,
Could someone help me with the following question. I'd like to consider flow domain as shown in attachment: This is a 3D case, where inside a box (represented on a drawing by a large rectangle) there is a cylinder (represented on a drawing by small rectangle). This cylinder is generated using blender and saved for example as stl file. Geometry would be meshed using snappyHexMesh. The question is: Is it possible to define a boundary condition (velocity inlet) on a face of imported stl solid? Best regards, Mariusz. |

you can define a patch for stl file, so you can assign what BC you like
