Dear foamers,

I am simulating a vertical axis turbine. The set of foils rotates at a constant rate and I can use "solidBodyMotionFunction rotatingMotion" for this cellzone, but I also need to prescribe the rotation of a cellzone for each the individual foils within that outer zone. They are not fixed and they do not rotate at a constant rate and I must adjust their angles to generate the maximum turning moment. I am trying to use "solidBodyMotionFunction tabulated6DoFMotion" for these zones. The difficulty I have is that I cannot prescribe the CofG for these zones as required, since they themselves are moving.

Does anyone have any experience with such a nested application please?

Thanks in advance.
