snappyHexMesh generalization for airfoils

I was trying to modify the code of the generally known tutorial on airfoils (https://www.hpc.ntnu.no/display/hpc/...l+Calculations) in order to use it for 3D stl files of different airfoils.
I am pretty new to OpenFOAM (so please forgive my stupid questions), so I tried just to replace the airfoil.stl in the snappyHexMesh/contstant/triSurface folder with my 3D model. Unfortunately, it seems as if I need to change some other properties too. Could you help me on this? Thanks a lot in advance! |
