Hello Foamers!
I am working on a problem of heat transfer on a nuclear fuel pin and I'm using chtMultiRegionSimpleFoam. The heat source is volumetric (W/m^3) inside the fuel region and the value of the heat source in every point must be imported from another software that solves the neutron transport equations and gives as output the volumetric heat source. This is written in an OpenFOAM-like file based on the OpenFOAM mesh of this case, already created. How can I make the solver read this file to import the volumetric heat source? Can it be done with fvOptions or do I have to modify the solver? In either case, what should I do? Thanks to everyone in advance. |
