Hi everybody,
I have a problem with a heat exchanger I meshed with ansys. It's made of three parts: a central cylinder representing air, a surrounding alluminium layer and a CO2 layer surrounding alluminium. Unfortunately, when trying to separate these regions in openfoam with the command splitMeshRegions -cellZones -overwrite , the process gets killed but does not give any error advice to explain what the problem is. Thinking it could depend on the fact that the mesh was too fine, I tried to use a shorter (10 cm) and coarser version of this exchanger, and the process worked with no problems (the original exchanger is 2.64 m long). Still, I have to mesh the original exchanger and I haven't fully understood the problem. I'd really appreciate your help, I'll also attach what the terminal says

I have sorted this problem out.

When I export the mesh from ICEMCFD, I make sure that the two-sided walls are given the interface boundary condition. This makes sure that OpenFOAM is able to identify them as interface and creates the solid-fluid interface.
