Boundary conditions for simulating an infinite duct?

Hello,
I am trying to simulate two infinitively long square ducts connected by a small gap. I would like to map the velocity and pressure from the outlet to the inlet, and raise the values of the pressure field by a flat value to drive the flow that way. Here is an image of my geometry: I'm uncertain what boundary condition would allow me to do so, as the list of standard boundary conditions is somewhat sparse on detail, and a Google search hasn't been very helpful either. Does anyone have a recommendation? Thank in advance. |

if i understood your problem well, the fan boundary condition with cyclic in velocity and jump in pressure is an appropriate BC.

For instance - are the baffles used in TJunctionFan necessary for creating a Fan BC? How does one set up a Fan BC in icoFoam? |

i guess you need to read more try with user-guide
the icoFoam and pimpleFoam are solvers Fan is a BC so Fan boundary condition can be applied on every solver. Also pimpleFoam does similar job as icoFoam, so i don't understand why you limit yourself to icoFoam.
