Hi everyone,

I am working on spray modelling with SprayFoam solver using OpenFoam 3.0 . I want to use LES models for this case. From my understanding, unlike the dieselFoam solver, the sprayFoam solver by default can be used with the LES models. (Is this correct???)

So I directly changed the turbulence model from RAS to LES in the turbulenceproperties file. I am using the one equation Eddy LES model with default properties taken from pitzDaily tutorial case. I also changed corresponding terms in the fvschemes, fvsolution.

But on running the simulation, I cannot see the mean and filtered terms and more over the spray formation is very unrealistic. I want to know if my assumptions are correct? Also where I am going wrong?

I have attached the corresponding files for my models. Pls help me out.

With regards,
SuryaKaundinya.
