Hello,
so i am trying to build a solver that will include extra source terms on the boundaries. I would like to know if it is generally possible with openfoam, and if yes a guide to how to implement this. The extra source terms on the boundaries will appear in the mass and energy equations. It is a compressible transient problem with heat transfer and heat exchange with cold helium bath. So there will also be an extra energy equation. One way i was thinking to go about this is implementing a custom boundary condition, such that the mass equation is equal to the extra source term, as well as the energy equation to be equal to the extra source term. Would this work? Thanks! Last edited by qutadah.r; March 2, 2023 at 12:01. Reason: extra info |
