Dear all,
i am interested in use of block (coupled) matrix libraries of OpenFOAM. So, i 've started with region coupling example. I have already seen/read Hrvoje Jasaks and Klas Jaretegs slides. I take a look af conjugateHeatFoam OF 1.6-ext and conjugateCavity example. The class coupledFvScalarMatrix is not given in OF 2.*. I think i can use block matrix classes to implement this. As nice exercise for use of block matrix classes in OF. Does it make sense? Any hints are welcome. |

Dear all,
i took a look at version 1.6.x-ext, and conjugateHeatFoam and blockCoupledScalarTransportFoam solvers. So ... . The 2.2 version of class BlockLduMatrix ist LduMatrix (not lduMatrix). What happened with CoeffField and VectorN class? |

Dear all,
in the release announcementOF v.2.2.0 is implicit region coupling mentioned. I try to use this boundary condition, but i have problems. Any ideas? Some tutorials? Someone who also want to use it? cite: Implicit Region Coupling For multi-region cases, such as when modelling conjugate heat transfer between multiple fluids and solids, the solution of the energy system when using a segregated approach may require many iterations to converge. This is partly due to the explicit treatment of the thermal boundaries coupling the regions. A new framework for the implicit solution of coupled thermal boundaries has been implemented, allowing a closer coupling between the solid and fluid regions. From a user perspective, the only change necessary is to employ a new type of boundary condition. Currently, this is still a work-in-progress, and under active development.
