Hi
I am trying to create a solver in applications/solvers but the bash displays the message "Permission Denied". Someone with a solution? |

Hi gulshiraz,
This is probably an issue due to file permissions. By default, if you install opebfoam as a root (using apt-get for example on ubuntu), files in source folders are owned by "root" and only readable. First, you should put your solver-folder in $HOME for example and then replace $FOAM_APPBIN by $FOAM_USER_APPBIN in the file "Make/files" Sincerely, Pierre |

The solvers have been by default saved in root directory. Is there a way to access root directory while using bash on Windows?
@Pierre, if you could please provide some more details on it. |
