BJ_23 is on a distinguished road
I'm new to Openfoam 8. I have adapted the compressibleInterFoam solver to mysolver. When I tried to pre-compile, I got the following error:

/usr/bin/ld.bfd: Make/linux64GccDPInt32Opt/mysolver.o: in function `main':
mysolver.C: (.text.startup+0x4243): undefined reference to `Foam::basicThermo::myvariable()'
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [/opt/openfoam8/wmake/makefiles/general:142: /home/ubuntupc86/OpenFOAM/ubuntupc86-8/platforms/linux64GccDPInt32Opt/bin/mysolver] Error 1

any clues to tackle the error?

thanks in advance
