Numericer New Member Join Date: Apr 2015 Posts: 15 Rep Power: 12	Consider a source term in a convective-diffusive equation: $\frac{\partial T}{\partial t} + u \frac{dT}{dx} - D \frac{d^2T}{dx^2}= k T$ What would be the discretization coefficients associated with kT? Numericer New Member Join Date: Apr 2015 Posts: 15 Rep Power: 12	The answer depends on implicit or explicit treatment of the term. Implicitly the coefficients are just cell volumes. Last edited by Numericer; January 1, 2023 at 13:55.
