Hello foamers,
I have a question I want to increase the speed of my simpleFoam solver (of Course I tried increasing the relaxation factors) I was googling and I read about the LTS in the new versions in pimpleFoam solvers but I read to about adding a ddt term in simpleFoam. So basically the idea as I read in the last answer in this thread was to write the Ueqn ddt + f(x) = 0 instead of just f(x) = 0, and place it in the simple loop and the simulation will be faster. I want to understand why this happen and if there are more data about it because I would like to work with simpleFOAM ans my problem is steadyState. Thank you! |
