Wall normal probes

I would like to record wall normal profiles of various quantities in my rotor blade simulation. I used the airfoil geometry to come up with a set of probes that look like the figure attached. There are two problems.
1. My controlDict is now over 17000 lines and I don't like it! 2. In the process of converting geometry -> pointwise mesh -> openfoam, some of these points in the probesDict now lie below the effective patch in openfoam. This isn't a very serious concern at the moment. However I would like better ways to do this. |

i am sorry iam writing irrelevant here. but i want to know how to ask a query here??? i am a new user to cfd-online... i am also steping to learn opnfoam... i wanted to know dat is dere any book for understanding openfoam..... regards, malhar. |
