Dear Foamers,

I have not used OpenFoam for ages and I was not an expert before. So I am asking for help. I have checked if there are similar problems, but I could not find anything.

I need to simulate a water jet, impinging vertically on a soil sample (which I can model as a soild) in a tank full of water.

I was wondering which is the best solver for this problem ?

I have tried pimpleFoam, since the JET is submerged. But I have an interface air/water in the tank (quite far from the stagnation point) and I do not know if I should consider it. In this case should I use interFoam?

Thanks in advance
