MrFrog is on a distinguished road
for your standard turbulent incompressible RANS simulations i have seen exmples that limit (usually with leastsquares) all the grad schemes variables. But, in the motorBike tutorial of the examples given in foam-extend, Openfoam and stated in some forum posts they seem to suggest that you should not limit anything other than grad(U). I guess my question is why? whats the accuracy consequences of doing this, and can anyone direct me to example cases or papers that say why this is the case?
