lordvon is on a distinguished road
Hello all,
I am a little confused on how to define volumes/faces in a mesh for rotorDiskSource. As I understand, rotorDiskSource is a body force that is applied to a volume, and not a face. Do I define the volume seperately from the rest of the domain? Or do I define the whole domain the same and in the OpenFOAM case files define the region to apply rotorDiskSource?
Then how do I get forces from the resulting rotorDiskSource region? Do I use setSet or something to get the faces encompassing the region, then use those face names in controlDict to output forces in the usual way?
Thank you all for your time and consideration.
