HRR in OF ver.7

Hello all. Does anyone know where dQ or Qdot or any other unit for counting HRR is? Solver - fireFoam. The cases of previous versions run OK but HRR remains unknown. Thanks.

Check out this commit : https://github.com/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM...cd97a879ae296b -- it was removed, but it sounds like a functionObject exists to compute it. Otherwise, you could likely modify the solver to (re)create the Qdot volScalarField.

Thanks. I tried running post process like fireFoam -postProcess -funk Qdot and had nothing. The field appeares but contains zero values.

I've not used the functionObject, so I cannot comment on that. However, it should be straightforward to modify the solver and create a volScalarField that's automatically written.
