Dear OpenFOAM group:
The chtMultiRegionFoam solver in OF-1.6.x is based on old buoyantFoam solver to solve the fluid region. Has anyone attempted to replace the fluid solver with Boussinesq approximation? Pei |

Did you solve this problem. I am doing a simulation test , which is exactly the thing you were asking before. Could you please let me know how your case goes and share me hints or tell me some references such as thesis? I couldn't find any valuable hints online. Now I am using chtmultiregionfoam to simulate a compressible fluid (water) using icopolynomial, but it did not work. I guess it is hard to consider water as compressible. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks. Ting |
