In the fvSolution, you put the "potential Flow" information into the "{" of the relavationFactors.
Since your PIMPLE does not converge, there might be a problem with the relaxation factors. I can't see any typo, but you should try if openFoam actually uses them. You could see that by running one iteration (save the log output) and running a second simulation beginning at exactly the same point but you comment out the "relaxationFactors" in your fvSolution. Now you should see a different log output (residuals). If they are the same, you got a problem...

Some fresh news! I'm writing on this to let you know and to help other foamers in their first steps.

1) I was making an error, as you mentioned. I believed that writing in the fvSolution, can automatically initialize the field.
So I followed the sequent step:

mpirun -np 4 potentialFoam -parallel > potentialFoam &

then

mpirun -np 4 pimpleFoam -parallel > pimpleFoam &


I think that is working and that pimpleFoam is reading the precedent log!

Finally I analized the Co.

OpenFOAM provides a native utility. After reconstructPar, in the bash type:

Co

Opened in paraFoam, and used Co as a volScalarField at first time step




Any ideas?

1) In your last log post, PIMPLE seems to converge. Don't you think so?
2) You Co is probably 20 because some cells are very small where the flow is fast, so why do you think this is wrong? If PIMPLE remains stable I don't see any problem.
