Hi,

I'm trying to simulate a 3d wing. The mesh is created using snappyHexMesh and they seem ok in Paraview. I used pimplefoam and simplefoam with komegaSST to get the cl, cd etc.

However, the ans I get I seems lower than expected. From the simulation, the cl increase from 0.08 to 0.2 (AOA ~ 18) and then drops. The actual model weighs about 6.7kg and at AOA ~ 18, cl = 0.2 corresponds to a lift force of 40N, which is not enough to support the weight. This ans is from pimplefoam.

I also tried simplefoam but I got oscillating ans ranging between +/- 0.2

I tried to increase resolution but the result is similar. I tried to change to KE turbulence model but also small difference.

Any suggestion? anything else I should try?
