Good afternoon.
I'm trying to compile a solver which would be the combination of MRconjugateHeatFoam and InterFoam.
I have several problems but the one that it more hard for me to solve is the definition of the thermal conductivity in the liquid (the liquid is a mixture of vapor+liquid which changes at every time step according to the volume fraction of liquid/vapor).
In detail I should define the thermal conductivity at the same time as a variable used in the solver to solve the heat transfer and also as an updated boundary condition to be used in the coupling of the solid and liquid region.

I know that the question is a little foggy but any idea or suggestion are welcome at this stage.

Hi Emanuele,

This work is not very complex.in fluid region K define as mixture of vapor

and liquid as : K=Kl*alpha+kg*(1-alpha)

and this K participate in temperature equation of fluid and then coupled with

thermal conductivity of solid.

Thank you Hesam for your reply.
I've already implemented that kind of formulation for the evaluation of the thermal conductivity.
Maybe my question was not clear enough!
Anyway the so evaluated thermal conductivity changes every time step due the the variation of the location of the cells were there is liquid or vapor or mixture during the simulation.
What i need is this value of K to enter in a definition of a coupling boundary condition
Unfortunately the one i have available takes a constant value of K from the transport properties dictionary but in my case K is always changing during the simulation...
If you have time to see it i could send you the original solver i'm trying to modify (MRconjugate) so you could understand better my problem....

Thank you again for the fast response
