Dear foamers.

I am very interested in simulation of two stroke engine with scavenging. There are presentations that I found about 2 stroke engines, done by Mr. Tommaso Lucchini:
http://powerlab.fsb.hr/ped/kturbo/Op...2007Engine.pdf
https://imem.cray.com/2013/Meeting-2...lia-Milano.pdf page 5.

and another usage:
http://publications.lib.chalmers.se/...ext/122640.pdf

but none of them provide needed information for case setup.

I have been trying to modify simpleEngineStem case for sonicTurbDymEngineFoam but I cannot make it run.

If anyone of You could share a simple 2d case of two stroke engine with scavenging I would be gratefull.

I wish You wonderful day!

PS. I still can't do sliding interface in 3d case:
Salome, sliding interface and "Zero length edge detected."

Hi all,

I have the same question, would appreciate if someone could provide insights into setting up a two-stroke engine model in OpenFOAM.

Regards,
nimrod
