Hey,

I am trying to simulate the cold flow in a 3D pitz-daily geometry with XiFoam solver without any combustion, similar to one in this paper:

HTML Code:
http://www.j-mst.org/On_line/admin/files/20-J2010-417_713-719-720%EB%B0%B1_.pdf
In 2d pitz-daily tutorials available in the OpenFOAM when the solution is animated instantaneous formation of recirculation bubbles is seen constantly, for example:

HTML Code:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fhw8fVnBEwg
But in my case after the first bubble is formed it kind of "dissolves" and I end up with a jet-like flow. Is this normal for such high Re numbers or am I missing something in my discretization schemes or boundary conditions.

Uploading my case with a solution with a small animation if anyone is interested to make a comment.

HTML Code:

Thanks,

-Bulut
