Hi, guys,
Based on several days' code reading on reactingTwoPhaseEulerFoam, it looks like that the mass fraction Y and void fraction Alpha are decoupled. Actually, the mass loss according to vaporation of the liquid phase will not either increase alpha of gas or decrease alpha of liquid. As a result, mass and Volume fraction are decoupled Do you guys also get similar conclusions on this topic? And normally how you guys solve it? |

Any comment?
Or this thread should go to the programming sub-forum |

Can any one tell me that what is major difference in twoPhaseEulerFoam and reactingTwoPhaseEulerFoam? Other thing i want to confirm for reactingTwoPhaseEulerFoam: is it based on volume fraction or mass fraction? tutorial are same for both solvers. Regards, Umer |
