Dear all,

I need to download perturbU utility for OpenFOAM 4. I've followed the instruction here http://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/Contrib/perturbU.

Unfortunately the repository seems to be empty

So can anyone provide link for perturbU for OpenFOAM 4

Best regards.

Hi Houthuys.

I think this utilities is no more available. You can get more information in https://github.com/wyldckat/perturbU
Maybe Bruno (wyldckat) has more information about this utilities.

Sorry.

Hi Houthuys.

I assume you want to do some LES and need a perturbed field?
For my own LES i ended up making some small modifications to boxturb. boxturb gives you a uniform turbulence field, but changing the code to accept a baseline velocity is quite simple.

Hope it helps,
Cheers,
