Dear friends:
When I use OF5.0, the following error occurs:

mpirun was unable to find the specified executable file, and therefore
did not launch the job. This error was first reported for process
rank 0; it may have occurred for other processes as well.

NOTE: A common cause for this error is misspelling a mpirun command
line parameter option (remember that mpirun interprets the first
unrecognized command line token as the executable).

Node: ai-virtual-machine
Executable: –np
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
4 total processes failed to start

The solver I use is interFoam. Hope to get your help, thanks.

Hi!

What was the command?
You should use:

mpirun -np 4 interFoam -parallel

Have you allocated access rights to multiple processors on your VM ?

If you've only allowed 1 processor as a resource, mpirun won't be able to access other processors.

Best,
K
