Hey guys,
I have a question concerning the calculation of species distribution in openFOAM. I performed a calculation with rhoCentralFoam to visualise the flow field of a thruster plume. The simulation is running and gives very good results. I know that because I validated my calculations. But now I would like to takle a new thing. I would like to consider all the different species in my flow such as H2, CO2 .... and calculate the mass fraction of each one in the flow. My question is the following. How would you tackle this thing? Is it possible to use the solver reactingFoam and use my rhoCentralFoam solution as initial solutions (via mapField) for the reactingFoam simulation? Btw. we have to consider that I want to calculate a multi species flow without reactions between the different species. Thank you really much for your reply. I really appreciate any held I get. Kind Regards, Felix |
