Dear Foamers,

Based on bubbleFoam, the E-E implementation evolved extensively. In 2020 (actually from the middle 2019), we summarized the E-E implementation in OpenFOAM. In this manuscript, we did large amount of gas-liquid simulations to verify this reactingTwoPhaseEulerFoam without mass/heat transfer. The relative velocity formulation and face-based momentum discretization developed by Henry Weller looks interesting. It should be noted that reactingTwoPhaseEulerFoam is an enhanced version of twoPhaseEulerFoam. The core algorithm implementation shows very little difference. Mass/heat transfer and reactions will be investigated in the future, I put it in my to do list.

Meanwhile, the Diaz2008 bubble column test case can be found in the attachment. You can run it by Allrun script (OpenFOAM-7 should be installed, although OpenFOAM-6 should be fine either). These test cases can be downloaded by anybody for free but I am still happy that you cite our work.

These links are in Chinese through, but you can click the button in the middle to download. Finally, I should admit that we submitted this manuscript to some high IF journals, but it was rejected in a very long period. But we still think our work is benefit to others, especially to the OpenFOAM community ! !
