Dear All,

I am new in openfoam, so sorry if my question is too obvious and easy.
I am trying to simulate an open air tank filled with water with the inlet inside the water field. I want to study the turbulence caused due to water flow from the inlet in the tank (please see the scheme attached).

I am working on the dam break tutorial but it seems to crash for the moment.
If we assume that we know the inlet velocity can somebody help to define boundary conditions for this case ?

Best Regards,
DPoly
