Hi all!
The sloshing2D tutorial via OpenFOAM 4.1-extend runs well (this tutorial is a 2D channel, top filled with gas, bottom with liquid, initially deformed. The meniscus oscillates upon starting simulation). However, I am confused on three points, and would love any clarification you can have: 1) There is no setFields file (which I'm used to seeing in interFoam) so how is the initial sinusoidal interface being set? 2) There is no blockMesh file, so how is the mesh and grid size set? 3) How to track the interface through time. Through interFoam I've always opened paraFoam, then located the alpha = 0.5 value (which gives a line along the interface) and then saved all outputs to a file. I'd really appreciate your help! |
