This can be real life case scenario. I was wondering is it possible to couple with reactingFoam.
Instead of 'infinite fast one-step methane reaction', a PDF table based model. Using Chemkin mechanism to generate transport properties, thermodynamics properties, kinetic reactions based properties can be developed. Then these GRI3.0 files based properties are used to calculate the actual combustion scenario then after that heat flux generated from this combustion, how much heat transfer is calculated. Something like that I would like to develop. I don;t know if this is impossible or very difficult but I believe this can be achieved, although it'll take time to generate the results, but those will be very accurate! |
