Hi all,

First, thanks for the willingness of all people on this forum to share knowledge, it has helped me tremendously so far.

Currently, I am having an issue that when I run my simulation on a HPC cluster, which has v2006 and thirdparty compiled, the pitchAxis changes sign.

So, when running locally on my computer, everything works as intended and my pitchAxis stays as I defined pre-simulation in forceCoeffs pitchAxis(0,0,1). I checked this afterwards by looking at the postProcessing forceCoeffs.dat output which shows the same pitchAxis(0,0,1). Locally, I installed OpenFOAM on ubuntu using: sudo apt-get -y install openfoam8.

On an HPC cluster, where I compiled OpenFOAM v2006 and the thirdparty directory, somewhere in the process the pitchAxis changes to (0,0,-1). When inspecting the postProcessing forceCoeffs.dat after solving it shows pitchAxis (0,0,-1), but in system/forceCoeffs it's still pitchAxis (0,0,1).

Any idea what could be causing this? It is not the end of the world as I could just apply corrections when processing the data, but I still find it very strange.

If any more information is needed to further understand the problem please let me know!
